OCCURRENCE AND GENOTYPIC DIFFERENCES OF CHlOROGENIC ACID IN DOUGLAS-FIR FOLIAGE
نویسنده
چکیده
Chlorogenic acid was identified in the foliage of Douglas-fir during the dormant season. Concentrations varied among genotypes and ranged between 75 and 390 p.p.m. in the fresh tissue.

Phenotypic and genotypic diversity of dominant lactic acid bacteria isolated from traditional yoghurts produced by tribes of Iran
Morphological, biochemical and molecular characteristics were studied to identify dominant lactic acid bacteria (LAB), isolated from traditional yoghurts produced by tribes of Iran. From 60 yoghurt samples, a total of 137 LAB isolates were determined, in which 66 and 71 were identified as lactic acid cocci and bacilli, respectively. Biochemical tests showed the occurrence of 9.76% mesophilic ho...
متن کاملOccurrence of Rutin and Chlorogenic Acid in Elderberry Leaf, Flower, and Stem in Response to Genotype, Environment, and Season
The American elderberry (Sambucus nigra subsp. canadensis) is being increasingly consumed as a nutraceutical. In Europe, tea made from flowers of the elderberry subspecies nigra is a popular herbal treatment for respiratory infections such as colds and influenza, but little is known about the medicinal attributes of the subspecies canadensis. Potentially-active compounds in elderberry include p...

متن کاملCo-occurrence and genotypic distribution of Phytophthora species recovered from watersheds and plant nurseries of eastern Tennessee.
In 2008 statewide surveys of symptomatic foliage of nursery plants from Tennessee resulted in isolation of 43 isolates of Phytophthora spp. This sample set includes four described species (P. citrophthora, P. citricola, P. nicotianae, P. syringae), and a provisional species of Phytophthora ('P. hydropathica'). At the same time a stream-baiting survey was initiated to recover Phytophthora from e...
متن کاملHuman platelet antigen polymorphism in bronchial asthma
Background: Asthma is recognized as a common cause of disability, of great economic cost, and of preventable deaths. In this study we aimed to test our hypothesis to evaluate the relationship between the Human Platelet Antigen-1(HPA-1) polymorphism and bronchial asthma and its severity, which would suggest genetic variances that may be responsible for expression or activation of these receptors...
